The Machine-Room-Less (MRL) Passenger Lift places all drive components within the hoistway — either in the overhead or alongside the guide rails — eliminating the need for a separate machine room atop the building.
This design is the preferred choice for architects and developers looking to maximise usable floor area without compromising lift performance or standards compliance. MRL lifts meet IS:14665 and EN 81-20 requirements fully.
Rolex MRL lifts incorporate our traction-based gearless motor with compact controller cabinet, making them suitable for buildings from 3 to 20 floors.
